These cute little drinks are located on Vermont Ave. in Koreatown from Alchemist Coffee Project.

Alchemist Coffee Project is located in a little plaza along Vermont, smack dab in the middle of a variety of stores. Before 10:30AM, the parking is free but after that, it’s $2 for valet. The only reason I give the parking category a 9/10 is because I’d at least like the option of parking my car myself and saving the $2, but there’s no way to avoid it– you literally have to pass the valet booth as you enter LOLOL.
The inside of the coffee shop has a nice, dark ambience in which they play soft r&b and generally chill music. When it starts getting dark out, they adjust the lighting so that it’s bright enough for you to see what you’re doing while maintaining the ambience. For a coffee shop, it actually remains pretty quiet despite it being completely full inside. What’s also really nice is the number of outlets they make available which is super convenient when you have a bunch of college students looking for a place to cram for finals!
Katrina got an iced Matcha Latte ($5.18) and I got a hot Vanilla Latte ($5.18) and both drinks were super good! Their matcha lattes are definitely amongst the best I’ve tried, and all their hot lattes come with cute lil art designs perfect for your Instagram aesthetic.
We probably spent about 3 hours here in total as we studied. The staff here are really nice and let you stay for as long as you want and don’t give you bizarre looks for sitting in the same spot for hours.
They also have paninis and pastries available in case you’re hungry but there are a variety of food spots located nearby if you want something more filling. Overall, I really liked the vibe of this coffee shop and would definitely come back to study or hang out with a friend– or in case my aesthetic needs a little work.
ugh I just love food. Why can’t we just be able to eat what we want when we want 😦 I want to try this place
