A Valley Kid’s Guide to: Brunch

No posts since July 1st?! Trust me, I hate myself just as much as the rest of you do HAHAHA. All jokes aside, I’ve been really busy with school, work, Kappa, and tbh, the funds for TFM were running pretty low due to festival and convention season. But I figured with my 1 year anniversary for Total Foodie Move coming up, I should probably get something up for this half of the year!

So here are some of my fave go-to Brunch spots in the good ol’ San Fernando Valley!

brunch n views

This trendy place is known as the Roof on Wilshire– located on the roof of the Hotel Wilshire on Wilshire Blvd (the redundance kind of reminds me of Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc Jacobs… lol). This rooftop brunch has been praised for it’s great service, amazing views, and the quality of the food. You can use valet parking within the hotel for $6 with validation from the restaurant.

Bea Bea’s, supposedly pronounced bee-bee’s, is located in a large grocery-ish plaza in Burbank. Katrina and I gave this place a visit one Sunday afternoon for brunch after craving Eggs Benedict and green tea pancakes. When we arrived, the crowd waiting to be seated was no joke. Regardless, we were starving and wanted to try it so we put our name down and dealt with the wait. Despite being at the end of the list, we were seated within at least 15-20 minutes, even though they said it’d be about 30 minutes. They were very quick to clean up and seat new parties whenever tables opened up and I appreciated that.
