HOLY CHEESY RIBS

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY AND GOOD, I REALLY AM STILL NOT OVER IT

This past weekend, Vivian and I paid a visit to Mister Bossam located in Koreatown. We visited on Super Bowl Sunday so there were virtually no lines anywhere. We walked in and were seated right away, there is a parking lot as well, so that should be a breeze for anyone wanting to stop by.

We order the LA Grilled Cheese Fire Baby Back Ribs ($35.99). It comes with the cheesy ribs, spicy rice cakes, pineapples, a steamed egg, and sliced hotdogs on the skillet. As well, you’re still provided with side dishes. Included in the price is the fried rice that they mix with the remainder of the sauce from the meat/your leftover meat. You can choose to have the rice after or you can get it halfway through your meal. I do recommend going in groups of 3-4 if you have a smaller appetite, or just for 2 if you are starving and could eat a horse. It’s really a lot of food and it doesn’t look like you’ll get full, BUT YOU WILL. TRUST ME.

The vibe is really chill, they play very relaxed Korean slow jams, and the waiters are super considerate and friendly. I can see how this place would get really busy at night, especially for people looking to bond over food with friends, but during the day, it’s very chill and usually a bit more slow.

I would definitely re-visit this place! I really enjoyed the experience and the food was just as delicious as it looked. Plan on hitting the gym all week after this meal though, heheh~
