IT’S SO FLUFFY

These fluffy desserts can be found at CottonHi in Koreatown. Located on 6th Street, in the midst of a Korean plaza, you can find this adorable treat.

When you get to the plaza, be prepared to either pay $2 for valet or find parking on the street in the neighborhood, far, far away. Unless you’re paying CottonHi a random visit in the daytime, in the middle of the week, you’re not gonna find parking in that plaza. In the same plaza is Kyochon chicken and a super popular KBBQ spot. So… just pay for the valet.

CottonHi actually has many, many options. It’s not restricted to froyo and cotton candy. You can get Red Velvet styled desserts, Cheesecake Mango, Chocolate Delight desserts, etc. But the main highlight of this spot is the cotton candy and froyo. I’ve visited a place similar to this in Alhambra, called CremeBee, but I found this to be more to my liking.

At CottonHi, you can choose the flavors of your cotton candy and froyo. Froyo comes in 3 flavors: Green Tea, Chocolate, and Milk (Original). The Cotton Candy comes in a variety as well: Strawberry, Lemonade, Double Mint, Salted Caramel, Coffee, and I’m probably missing one. I got the green tea froyo with Lemonade cotton candy and Vivian got the green tea froyo with Strawberry cotton candy. These creations were $3.99 each, a pretty good price considering how much you get, compared to other dessert places that use the same cups/measurements.

I’m a huge fan of anything green tea and especially ice cream, and the froyo was creamy and delicious! Some places that serve green tea froyo end up with something that’s either tasteless or too icy, but this froyo was perfect! The cotton candy was good as well, and they give you just the right amount without making it overkill.

We went on a Saturday night and it was really crowded but there was always seating opening up so no one was forced to stand outside in the  huge crowd with the people in line for KBBQ LOL. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely give it a try but I wouldn’t recommend it as something to go completely out of your way for.
